How to videos, how to give quota management privileges to the global operator user account in VN X in reference to EMC support solution. 171582, this video demonstrates how to give quota management privileges to the global operator user account in VX from the uni sphere dashboard, select the required VN X array, select settings select security from security options, select user management and then select user customization for file in the user customization window.

Select trolls select create to create a new role. You can enter the role name. In this example, we are creating a role called quotas. Give full privileges to the role by expanding the category storage and select full control for quotas. Click apply, click OK. Now go back to the group's tab to create a new group. So like create enter a group name. In this example, we will create group quotas. We have to assign a role to this group.

Use the roll drop down menu and select the newly created role quotas. Click apply then click. OK. Now go back to the user customization window and select the users tab, select the user account on which you want to assign the role and click properties in the proper window. Check the group quotas under the group membership section. Click apply. Now we have successfully assigned quota management privileges to the global operator user account.
