How to Install and Remove the I/O Module on Force10 MXL

This video will demonstrate the installation and removal procedure of an I/O module for Force10 MXL.

Removing An I/O Module:
If you have not already installed the cable enumerators to make removal and replacement of the I/O modules easier and faster, install them now. For more information, see the Rack Installation Guide at support.dell.com/manuals.
Disconnect the cables attached to the I/O module.
Lift the latch on the end of the module’s handle and rotate the handle away from the module.
Slide the I/O module out of the enclosure.
Install the I/O connector cover.

Installing An I/O Module
Unpack the I/O module and prepare it for installation.
Remove the I/O connector cover from the back of the module.
Lift the handle release latch and open the I/O module handle.
Slide the module into the enclosure.
Close the handle until it snaps securely into place and the module is fully seated.
Connect all cables that must be attached to the I/O module.
