In this video, we'll show you the process of installing an operating system in Secure Boot Mode through Lifecycle Controller. In Lifecycle Controller, click "OS Deployment," and then click "Deploy OS". If needed, use the "Configure RAID First" option, or select "Go Directly to OS Deployment" to continue with the OS Deployment, and click "Next".
Select "UEFI" from the "Boot Mode" options and then enable "Secure Boot". Select the desired OS from the drop-down menu. Click "Next". A progress bar is displayed, prompting you to wait while composing the OS drivers. Select "Manual Install" and then click "Next". On the "Insert OS Media" page, click "Next".
The settings are summarized on this page. Click "Finish" to apply the settings. Once the settings have been applied, the system will reboot and continue the OS deployment. Press "F10" to start Lifecycle Controller. You'll get a post message for the Secure Boot Policy modification. Press any key to boot from CD or DVD.
After you press a key, files will start loading. Once loaded, select your language and click "Next". And click "Install Now". Select the correct operating system and then click "Next". Read the agreement and select "I accept the license terms".
Select "Custom: Install Windows only". After this, select the drive where you want to install Windows, and then click "Next" to begin the installation. For more information about the Dell Lifecycle Controller, visit Dell.com/techcenter/lc.
