To remove the hard drive, unlatch the stand on the base of the monitor. Pry the back cover off the machine. Find the IO cover and remove the five screws. Lift the cover off the system. Identify the hard drive and remove the screw. Lift the hard drive out of the system and remove the four screws.
To reinstall the hard drive, tighten the four screws. Place the hard drive back in the system and secure it with the screw. Place the back cover on the device and re-latch the stand to the monitor. For more information about your Dell system, visit: Dell.com/Support.
