How to Replace Memory Modules on Latitude 5540

This video will demonstrate replacement procedure of a Memory Modules on Latitude 5540.

To remove the memory modules, loosen the 8 screws on the base cover. Pry the cover away from the recess points near the hinges to remove it. Identify the memory modules and unlatch them, grasp the edges and lift the modules out of the system.

To reinstall the memory modules, place them back in the system and relatch them. Secure the base cover back on the system.
