In this video, we show how to replace a HPM board in a PowerEdge M7725. To begin, first remove the system cover, front cover, , air shroud, cable holders, memory modules, risers, drives, DLC module, processors, OCP NIC card, BOSS-N1, DC-SCM board, Internal USB, if installed. Now disconnect the cable holders and keep the DLC tubes away.
To remove the HPM board, hold the HPM board plungers and slide the HPM board towards the front of the system and carefully lift the HPM board out of the chassis.
To install the HPM board, hold the HPM board plungers, align and slide in the HPM board until it locks in its place. Next, realign the cable holder and route the DLC tubes. For more information about safety guidelines see the service manual at: Dell.com/Support.
