How to Replace the Memory UMA on Inspiron 3511

This video will demonstrate the removal and reinstallation procedure of a memory UMA for Inspiron 3511.

To remove the memory module. Loosen the six screws on the base cover and the two screws. Speaker 2: Near the back hinges. Pry the base. Speaker 1: Cover off the system. Speaker 2: Identify and unlatch the memory module from the system.

Grasp the module by the edges and lift it out of the system to reinstall the memory module, place it back in the system and re latch it. Secure the base cover on the system.
