In this video, we show how to replace a right control panel on a PowerEdge R7725XD. With the cover, air shroud, fan cage assembly, drive backline cover, as well as the right sidewall bracket removed from the system, to remove the right control panel, disconnect the cable from the HPM. And then remove the 5 screws securing the cable cover in place.
With the screws removed, remove the cable cover. Pull the cable out of the side of the system and then remove the 3 screws securing the control panel in place. With the 3 screws removed, slide the control panel out the side of the system.
To install a control panel, align it with the side of the system and slide it into place, then replace the 3 screws to secure it to the chassis. Run the cable into the hole in the side of the chassis.
Align the cable cover over the cable. And then replace the 5 screws to secure the cable cover. With the cable cover in place. Reconnect the right control panel cable. to the HPM. For more information about the Power Edge R7725 XD, visit Dell.com/Support.
