To run the Windows System File Checker utility, click on the “Windows Start” button and type “cmd” into the search bar. Under the “Command Prompt” result, click on “Run as administrator.” Click “Yes” on the pop-up that appears.
In the “Command Prompt” window, type “sfc /scannow” and press “Enter.” System File Checker utility will check the integrity of the Windows system files and repair them if necessary. Once the process is completed, restart the computer.
