In this video, you'll get an overview for using the pre deployment checklist in the VxRail configuration portal. This checklist helps you ensure that you have met all prerequisites before deploying a VxRail appliance on the VxRail configuration portal.
Get started with VxRail planning, creating projects and adding clusters to projects to watch videos about getting started managing projects and creating clusters. Click the getting started tab before deploying VxRail to ensure that you've met the prerequisites.
Click my pre deployment checklists until you select the check box corresponding to all tasks. The pre deployment checklist status of a cluster is indicated as checklist incomplete to view the checklist items of a cluster, select the cluster and then click view checklist.
There are nine checkpoints in this checklist where each checkpoint has multiple tasks that you must complete before proceeding with deployment.
For information about each checkpoint in this checklist, click the corresponding learn more link, expand the help tab and view the relevant context sensitive online help information, ensure that the tasks are completed by you and then select a check box corresponding to that checklist.
For example, if you have completed all tasks under switch configuration, select the corresponding check box similarly complete all tasks and select all check boxes.
After you select the last check box, which is a sole procedure documentation check box. The status of the complete pre deployment checklist is indicated with a green tick mark, click save.
