Switch MDS 9148S running on 8.4(2d) rebooted due to kernel panic.

show accounting log indicates that terminal width, and terminal length are configured simultaneously and then the session is closed.

The trigger for this issue is unknown. Kernel panic causes the system to reload and disrupts traffic during the reload.

Resolution
Workaround:
Avoid setting the terminal width or length in parallel with closing the session.
Do not configure terminal width and terminal length simultaneously and then close the session or avoid using any script which keeps setting terminal width and length.

The issue is addressed in 8.4(2f), 9.3.1 and 9.4.x release.
