NetWorker: Illegal date format "Month. date, year, time" for Authentication config date

The following error message is seen in the NetWorker Management Console (NMC):

Illegal date format "Jun. 3, 2026, 2:49:41 p.m." for Authentication config date

Issue Observed After Server Upgrade to NetWorker Version 19.13.x (or later) from 19.12.x (or prior).
Following the upgrade of the NetWorker server to version 19.13.x, an error was reported.

The NMC client (meaning, the host accessing the NMC) is missing the deployment.jvm.arguments.whitelist=-Djava.locale.providers argument in the directory C:\Users\USER-NAME\.config\icedtea-web\deployment.properties:

1. On the NMC client, open C:\Users\USER-NAME\.config\icedtea-web\deployment.properties with a text editor.

Where USER-NAME is your user account.

2. Add the following line:

#Next deployment configuration
#Mon Jul 07 13:19:48 EDT 2025
ows.jvm.manager.vendor.allowFromJnlp=true
ows.install4j.propertyUpdate=1749662489457
ows.jvm.manager.updateStrategy=NO_REMOTE
deployment.jvm.arguments.whitelist=-Djava.locale.providers

3. Save and close the file.
4. Relaunch the NMC and apply the license file.

For NetWorker 19.13.x, a new XML-format license file is required. Once the license file is obtained, follow the steps outlined in the applicable KB article. Alternatively, you may refer to the Dell NetWorker Licensing Guide for the license installation and configuration procedure.
