Symptoms
When trying to perform a restore of an SQL client the following error is seen
Note that the target SQL server name is SQLTEST3 and the instance name is MSSQLSERVER

Cause
The restore wizard was unable to recognise the instance name
Resolution
Use the instance name returned when running the following command on the SQL target client where the data is to be restored
avsql --operation=browse --debug --verbose=5 The command will list the instance name as (local). Use (local) in the restore wizard in order to perform the restore successfully
