大小和 Data Domain 方面:

虚拟合成完整备份:

NetWorker 仅支持直接备份到 Data Domain 磁盘设备;到达该位置后,可以将数据克隆到磁带、Cloud Boost 或其他受支持的设备。这也意味着必须将数据克隆(拷贝)回 Data Domain 设备以执行恢复。
由于备份将执行到 Data Domain,因此无论执行的备份级别如何,目标设备上生成的备份都是新的完整备份。NetWorker 使用 Data Domain 虚拟合成技术创建合成完整备份。这意味着,如果需要,任何备份都可以用于完整映像恢复。由于所有备份都是“虚拟合成完整备份”,因此 NetWorker 支持为虚拟机计划“永久增量”备份。但是,任何虚拟机的第一次备份都将作为完整级别执行。

空间注意事项:

NetWorker VMware Protection (NVP) 解决方案仅支持直接备份到 Data Domain 设备。增量级备份使用 VMware 更改数据块跟踪 (CBT) 来计算以前备份和当前备份之间的新数据块。只有新数据会发送到 Data Domain。Data Domain 重复数据消除将在备份数据拷贝到 Data Domain 文件系统后执行。在源(VMware 级别),不会进行重复数据消除。执行备份时,估计的空间要求不考虑重复数据消除。要使备份成功,存储介质上必须有 CBT(重复数据消除前)后大小。虚拟机的更改数据块完全由 CBT 在 VMware 中计算。虚拟机备份会话日志中显示增量备份的更改数据块比率:

虚拟机备份大小:

无论 nsrcapinfomminfo ,则虚拟机备份始终显示 VMware 中虚拟机的完整调配大小。它不反映增量备份中备份的数据量。例如,某个虚拟机在 VMware 中显示的调配空间为 100 GB:

唯一的例外是 SQL 事务日志备份,它显示 (txnlog):

在 VMware 中,虚拟机大小以二进制千(1024 字节)为单位;在 NetWorker 中,它以公制千克(1000 字节)为单位显示,来自 KiB。二进制千克的单位是 KiB, MiB, GiB, TiB 和树木等等。公制千克单位为 KB, MB, GB, TB, 和树木等等。

注意: 它不能准确表示每次备份发送的数据量。请参阅每次备份节省的数据 部分。

将虚拟机存储集大小(以字节为单位)转换为二进制千字节时,大小与 VMware 中报告的大小匹配。

运行以下命令 mminfo 命令,其中包含扩展的 sumsize 列中的超链接。扩展后的 sumsize 列显示调配的大小(以字节为单位),而不是转换后的单位大小。

NetWorker 中显示的单位是字节。字节必须转换为二进制千克单位 (GiB) 以匹配 VMware:

Size_in_Bytes / 1024 = KiB / 1024 = MiB / 1024 = GiB

NetWorker 服务器 mminfo 命令可以提供所有磁盘驱动器的“总调配大小”,以及备份期间虚拟机数据/文件的“总空间使用情况”。

注意:DiskStats 是向上舍入的值。显示的值向上舍入到最近的下一单位,在上面的示例中,这是 GiB。会话日志中的 ChangedBytes 信息或 mminfo 输出报告备份期间发送的确切字节数。


操作系统命令 (grep/Select-String) 可用于列出每个虚拟机备份会话的总 DiskStats ,而不是逐个查看日志文件。显示的大小有助于确定虚拟机备份期间发送的数据量。 

  • NetWorker 服务器策略日志如下所示 jobsdb 轮换(默认 72 小时);经过此时间后,备份日志将从服务器中删除。
  • vProxy 备份会话日志不遵循 jobsdb 轮换并在 vProxy 上驻留数周/数月,具体取决于 vProxy 活动和空间使用情况。
  • 此信息还显示备份会话的吞吐量。
