Instructions
Avamar Grid 會執行 SUSE Enterprise Linux 作為作業系統。
SUSE 中預設未啟用 DNS 快取。
服務例如 nscd, bind, unbind, dnsmasque，以及必須為 DNS 快取手動啟用其他 DNS 快取機制。
這 /etc/hosts 檔包含儲存節點的項目 （內部和外部 IP 位址），並可作為快取選項。此外，配置為僅緩存的 DNS 伺服器也可以用於此目的。
/etc/nsswitch.conf 已設定為檢查 /etc/hosts 檔案，然後再聯絡 /etc/resolv.conf 檔。
在 Avamar 格線上， nsswitch.conf 檔案應設定如下：
hosts: files dns
Avamar kickstart 映像不包含在 nscd rpm 因此不支援手動配置此類 DNS 快取守護程式/服務之一的選項。
