Symptoms
Dopo l'upgrade di Avamar Server alla versione 19.3, la data collection per Avamar ha esito negativo con il seguente errore:
Connection to database mcdb failed: authentication method 10 not supported (-1)
Cause
A partire da Avamar 19.3, il metodo di autenticazione remota in mdcd è stato aggiornato.
Nel registro dell'agent viene visualizzato il seguente messaggio:

Resolution
Il supporto per il nuovo metodo di autenticazione per Avamar è stato introdotto in DPA 19.3.
Aggiornare l'agent di data collection DPA alla versione 19.3 per eseguire correttamente l'autenticazione e la data collection.
