PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM): Come installare PPCP sui sistemi di deployment Linux PPDM

Instructions

Per PPDM in esecuzione in deployment basati su Linux, il software viene eseguito in un'ambiente container. Pertanto, sono necessari alcuni passaggi per eseguire PowerProtect Command Line Tool (PPCP).

Il tecnico del supporto Dell fornisce PPCP (ppcp.zip), uno strumento di supporto per i server PPDM, se necessario.

Di seguito è riportata la procedura per caricare lo strumento PPCP nel contenitore PPDM:
 

  1. Carica il file ppcp.zip all'ambiente Linux. I clienti possono utilizzare il protocollo SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) o SCP (Secure Copy Protocol) per trasferire il file al sistema Linux. 

    In questo esempio, la proprietà ppcp.zip il file viene caricato su Linux /tmp Directory: 
    suse-ppdm:~ # ls -la /tmp/ppcp.zip
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6798651 Dec 30 09:37 /tmp/ppcp.zip

  2. Nel sistema Linux, individuare l'indirizzo IP interno con il comando: 
    ip addr

    Ad esempio, in questo ambiente di laboratorio, l'indirizzo IP interno Linux è 172.24.0.193: 
    suse-ppdm:/tmp # ip addr show dev brpp0
5: brpp0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc noqueue state UP group default qlen 1000

  3. Accedere alla shell core di PPDM con il comando: 
    sudo ppdmadmin shell -c core

     

  4. Utilizzare il comando scp per copiare il file da Linux al contenitore PPDM: 
    scp root@<Linux internal IP address>:<path to the file> <local path to the file>

     

    La colonna ppcp.zip diventa disponibile nel contenitore PPDM: 
    admin@ppdm-core:~> scp root@172.24.0.193:/tmp/ppcp.zip /home/admin/

  5. Estrarre il file e aggiungervi l'autorizzazione di esecuzione: 
    admin@ppdm-core:~> unzip ppcp.zip

  6. Il PPCP è pronto per l'uso. 
     
  7. Se il Supporto Dell richiede la revisione di un file, ad esempio se viene raccolto un backup del database interno PPDM (ESDB):

    Utilizzare il comando scp per copiare il file dal contenitore PPDM al sistema Linux: 
    scp <local path to the file> root@<Linux internal IP address>:<path to the file>

  8. Il file è disponibile in Linux /tmp .

Additional Information

Non è consentito accedere a SCP dal sistema Linux al contenitore PPDM.

L'indirizzo IP interno di PPDM è 172.24.0.200:
