PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM): Installera PPCP på PPDM Linux-distributionssystem

Instructions

För PPDM som körs i Linux-baserade distributioner körs programvaran i en behållarmiljö. Därför krävs några steg för att köra PowerProtect Command Line Tool (PPCP).

Dells supporttekniker tillhandahåller PPCP (ppcp.zip), ett supportverktyg för PPDM-servrar, vid behov.

Så här överför du PPCP-verktyget till PPDM-behållaren:
 

  1. Ladda upp ppcp.zip till Linux-miljön. Kunder kan använda SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) eller SCP (Secure Copy Protocol) för att överföra filen till Linux-systemet. 

    I det här exemplet ppcp.zip laddas upp till Linux-programmet /tmp Katalog: 
    suse-ppdm:~ # ls -la /tmp/ppcp.zip
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6798651 Dec 30 09:37 /tmp/ppcp.zip

  2. I Linux-systemet hittar du den interna IP-adressen med kommandot: 
    ip addr

    I den här labbmiljön är till exempel den interna IP-adressen för Linux 172.24.0.193: 
    suse-ppdm:/tmp # ip addr show dev brpp0
5: brpp0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc noqueue state UP group default qlen 1000

  3. Öppna PPDM-kärnskalet med kommandot: 
    sudo ppdmadmin shell -c core

     

  4. Använd tangenten scp för att kopiera filen från Linux till PPDM-behållaren: 
    scp root@<Linux internal IP address>:<path to the file> <local path to the file>

     

    Informationen ppcp.zip blir tillgänglig i PPDM-behållaren: 
    admin@ppdm-core:~> scp root@172.24.0.193:/tmp/ppcp.zip /home/admin/

  5. Extrahera filen och lägg till körningsbehörigheten i filen:

  6. PPCP är klar att användas. 
     
  7. Om Dells support kräver att en fil granskas, till exempel om en säkerhetskopia av en intern PPDM-databas (ESDB) samlas in:

Additional Information

SCP från Linux-systemet till PPDM-behållaren tillåts inte.

Den interna IP-adressen för PPDM är 172.24.0.200:
