Symptoms

Después de actualizar la versión del cliente Linux de 7.x a 19.3 o 19.4, el servicio avagent falla una vez que se inicia o no se inicia en absoluto.

En avagent.log.

Cause

Se instaló AvamarClient-linux-sles12.xxxx.
Los paquetes RPM de SLES-12 no están diseñados para una actualización regular del cliente. Causa problemas con openSSL.

Resolution

Instale el paquete de Avamar Client SLES11.
AvamarClient-linux-sles11-x86_64-19.x.rpm

El paquete de Avamar Client SLES11 tiene las bibliotecas openSSL vinculadas estáticamente. Esto es necesario para que la instalación de Avamar en el cliente funcione correctamente.
