Symptoms

Après la mise à niveau de la version du client Linux de la version 7.x vers la version 19.3 ou 19.4, le service avagent échoue une fois démarré ou ne démarre pas du tout.

Dans le fichier avagent.log.

Cause

AvamarClient-linux-sles12.xxxx a été installé.
Les packages SLES-12 RPM ne sont pas destinés à une mise à niveau régulière du client. Cela entraîne des problèmes avec OpenSSL.

Resolution

Installez le package Avamar Client SLES11.
AvamarClient-linux-sles11-x86_64-19.x.rpm

Le package Avamar Client SLES11 possède les bibliothèques openSSL liées de manière statique. Cela est nécessaire pour que l’installation d’Avamar côté client fonctionne correctement.
