Symptoms

Na het upgraden van de Linux-clientversie van 7.x naar 19.3 of 19.4, mislukt de avagent-service eenmaal gestart of helemaal niet.

In avagent.log.

Cause

AvamarClient-linux-sles12.xxxx is geïnstalleerd.
De SLES-12 RPM-pakketten zijn niet bedoeld voor een regelmatige clientupgrade. Het veroorzaakt problemen met openSSL.

Resolution

Installeer het Avamar Client SLES11-pakket.
AvamarClient-linux-sles11-x86_64-19.x.rpm

Het Avamar Client SLES11-pakket heeft de statisch gekoppelde openSSL-bibliotheken. Dit is vereist om de Avamar-installatie aan de clientzijde correct te laten werken.
