Symptoms

The display scale may reinitialize for about 1 second and the tool bar and windows may change from small to large. The issue occurs when opening the lid after keeping it closed for a while in AC/DC mode, and when the Lid Close option in the Power Manager setting is set to Do Nothing. The issue only happens if an optional keyboard cover is attached.

Cause

This is a problem with how the page is displayed in the operating system, with no functional impact. Microsoft has no plan to investigate and fix the issue in the upcoming release.

Resolution

Wait until the display scale reverts automatically, or set the Lid Close option in the Power Manager setting to Sleep, Hibernate, or Shut down to avoid the symptom from recurring.
