PowerFlex 5.X: Update Device Path Operation removed from the UI

Symptoms
Before PowerFlex 5.x, the option for Update Device Path was done using the PFMP UI:
- Go to Storage System > Devices Screen
- GO to More Actions > Update Device Path

Impact: No option to Update Device Path using the PFMP UI.
Cause
In EC deployment, the Update Device Path is not supported and is removed from the UI.
Resolution
Use case:
- Identify the disk and node.
- Try to clear device error and let the rebuild start.
- If the error persists replace the disk:
- Remove the disk from CloudLink (Encryption), if applicable.
- Remove the disk from the RAID controller configuration, if applicable.
- Remove the disk from PowerFlex Distributed Capacity Services. This removal should be immediate since PowerFlex considers it failed.
- Blink the disk and remove it physically from the node.
- Add the new disk physically to the node.
- Configure RAID 0 in RAID controller, if applicable.
- Configure CloudLink, if applicable.
- Add to Device Gateway Target (DGWT):
- The device path in the OS is
/dev/sdb - Another disk in the DGWT has the original device path set as
/dev/sdbas well- add device fails - Update the device path using one of the following options:
Using this ScaleIO Command-Line Interface (SCLI) command:
- The device path in the OS is
scli --update_device_original_paths
Using the Application Programming Interface (API) call:
POST /api/instances/Node::<node ID>/action/updateNodeOriginalPathnames

- Retry to add the device
- add device successful
