Symptoms

Un host Windows che non è un client NetWorker utilizza i servizi web GST.

http://NMChostname:9000/

L'utente non riesce ad accedere a NMC e visualizza il seguente messaggio.
There is a problem contacting the server, backupservername . Please verify that the server is running.
 

Cause

Server NetWorker JAVA 1.7
Host non NetWorker JAVA 1.7

Resolution

Aggiornare JAVA sull host non NetWorker utilizzato per effettuare la connessione web. 

In questo caso, è stato sufficiente aggiornare JAVA alla versione 1.8.

Ciò potrebbe interrompere altre applicazioni abilitate per Java se utilizzano versioni precedenti di JAVA. 

Ad esempio, l'interfaccia utente dello switch VNX Brocade.
