Symptoms

VMware ESXi için Dell System Update (DSU) 2.0.0 çalışırken envanter aşamasında aşağıdaki hata oluşur:

Inventory file not found - /scratch/opt/dell/dell_dup/inv.xml
Progress report is available at:/scratch/opt/dell/dell_dup/DSU_STATUS.json
Exiting DSU!

Cause

Bunun nedeni, DSU'nun VMware ESXi de desteklenmeyen Inventory Collector modülünü çalıştırmaya çalışmasıdır. ESXi için DSU 2.0.0 her zaman "passthough" modu, işletim sisteminde çalışan Inventory Collector modülü yerine doğrudan iDRAC'den bellenim envanteri toplar.

Resolution

Bir VMware ESXi ana bilgisayarında herhangi bir DSU yöntemini yerel konsolda, SSH üzerinden veya başka bir DSU örneğinden uzaktan çalıştırırken her zaman aşağıdaki komut satırı seçeneklerini ekleyin:
