Instructions

Pour PPDM s’exécutant dans des déploiements Linux, le logiciel s’exécute dans un environnement de conteneurs. Ainsi, quelques étapes sont nécessaires pour exécuter PowerProtect Command Line Tool (PPCP).

L’ingénieur du support Dell fournit un PPCP (ppcp.zip), un outil de support pour les serveurs PPDM, le cas échéant.

Voici la procédure à suivre pour télécharger l’outil PPCP dans le conteneur PPDM :
 

  1. Téléchargez le ppcp.zip à l’environnement Linux. Les clients peuvent utiliser le protocole SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) ou SCP (Secure Copy Protocol) pour transférer le fichier vers le système Linux. 

    Dans cet exemple, l’attribut ppcp.zip le fichier est téléchargé sur le serveur Linux /tmp Répertoire: 
    suse-ppdm:~ # ls -la /tmp/ppcp.zip
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6798651 Dec 30 09:37 /tmp/ppcp.zip

  2. Dans le système Linux, recherchez l’adresse IP interne à l’aide de la commande : 
    ip addr

    Par exemple, dans cet environnement d’exercices pratiques, l’adresse IP interne Linux est 172.24.0.193: 
    suse-ppdm:/tmp # ip addr show dev brpp0
5: brpp0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc noqueue state UP group default qlen 1000

  3. Accédez au shell principal de PPDM à l’aide de la commande : 
    sudo ppdmadmin shell -c core

     

  4. Utilisez la commande scp pour copier le fichier de Linux vers le conteneur PPDM : 
    scp root@<Linux internal IP address>:<path to the file> <local path to the file>

     

    La commande ppcp.zip devient disponible dans le conteneur PPDM : 
    admin@ppdm-core:~> scp root@172.24.0.193:/tmp/ppcp.zip /home/admin/

  5. Extrayez le fichier, puis ajoutez l’autorisation d’exécution au fichier : 
    admin@ppdm-core:~> unzip ppcp.zip

  6. Le PPCP est prêt à l’emploi. 
     
  7. Si le support Dell requiert un fichier pour révision, par exemple si une sauvegarde de la base de données interne PPDM (ESDB) est collectée :

    Utilisez la commande scp pour copier le fichier du conteneur PPDM vers le système Linux : 
    scp <local path to the file> root@<Linux internal IP address>:<path to the file>

    Par exemple, la sauvegarde ESDB est copiée sur le fichier /tmp Répertoire:

  8. Le fichier est disponible sous Linux /tmp .

Additional Information

Le SCP à partir du système Linux vers le conteneur PPDM n’est pas autorisé.

L’adresse IP interne de PPDM est la suivante : 172.24.0.200:
