Instructions

Linux 기반 배포에서 실행되는 PPDM의 경우 소프트웨어는 컨테이너 환경에서 실행됩니다. 따라서 PPCP(PowerProtect Command Line Tool)를 실행하려면 몇 가지 단계를 거쳐야 합니다.

Dell 지원 엔지니어는 PPCP(ppcp.zip), 필요한 경우 PPDM 서버용 지원 툴로 제공됩니다.

다음은 PPCP 툴을 PPDM 컨테이너에 업로드하는 절차입니다.
 

  1. 업로드 ppcp.zip Linux 환경으로. 고객은 SFTP(Secure File Transfer Protocol) 또는 SCP(Secure Copy Protocol)를 사용하여 파일을 Linux 시스템으로 전송할 수 있습니다. 

    이 예에서 ppcp.zip 파일이 Linux에 업로드됩니다. /tmp 디렉터리: 
    suse-ppdm:~ # ls -la /tmp/ppcp.zip
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6798651 Dec 30 09:37 /tmp/ppcp.zip

  2. Linux 시스템에서 다음 명령을 사용하여 내부 IP 주소를 찾습니다. 
    ip addr

    예를 들어 이 실습 환경에서 Linux 내부 IP 주소는 다음과 같습니다. 172.24.0.193: 
    suse-ppdm:/tmp # ip addr show dev brpp0
5: brpp0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc noqueue state UP group default qlen 1000

  3. 다음 명령을 사용하여 PPDM 코어 셸에 액세스합니다. 
    sudo ppdmadmin shell -c core

     

  4. 다음으로 scp Linux에서 PPDM 컨테이너로 파일을 복사하는 명령: 
    scp root@<Linux internal IP address>:<path to the file> <local path to the file>

     

    이 ppcp.zip PPDM 컨테이너에서 사용할 수 있게 됩니다.

  5. 파일의 압축을 풀고 파일에 실행 권한을 추가합니다.

  7. PPDM 내부 데이터베이스(ESDB) 백업이 수집되는 경우와 같이 Dell 지원에서 검토용 파일을 요구하는 경우:

    다음으로 scp 명령을 사용하여 PPDM 컨테이너에서 Linux 시스템으로 파일을 복사합니다. 
    scp <local path to the file> root@<Linux internal IP address>:<path to the file>

    예를 들어, ESDB 백업은 Linux /tmp 디렉터리: 
    admin@ppdm-core:~> scp /data01/serverdr_staging/ppcp_snapshot_2025-12-30_04-04-31.tar.bz2 root@172.24.0.193:/tmp/

  8. 이 파일은 Linux에서 사용할 수 있습니다. /tmp 디렉토리 아래에 있는 것을 확인할 수 있습니다.

Additional Information

Linux 시스템에서 PPDM 컨테이너로의 SCP는 허용되지 않습니다.

PPDM 내부 IP 주소: 172.24.0.200:
