Symptoms

TCP/IP(Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) 매개변수 win=1을 설정한 후 NDMP(Network Data Management Protocol) 가속기가 더 많은 데이터를 요청하는 속도가 느려집니다. 이로 인해 네트워크 연결 스토리지(NetApp)에 연결 시간 초과가 발생하고 연결이 닫힙니다.

 NetApp NDMP 백업 이슈

NetApp NAS 백업은 예외와 함께 완료될 수 있으며 NetApp TCP/IP 연결이 시간 초과되어 닫힐 수 있습니다. avndmp 로그에 다음 메시지가 나타날 수 있습니다.

또한 avtar 측에 다음 메시지가 나타날 수 있습니다.

이 문제는 임의 백업 및 임의 볼륨에서 발생할 수 있습니다.

Cause

근본 원인 

가속기 노드가 사용 중이기 때문에 문제가 발생한 것 같습니다. 이 경우 TCP/IP 창 크기를 1(win=1)로 설정하여 더 이상 데이터를 수신할 수 없음을 나타냅니다.

이로 인해 NetApp 측에서 데이터 전송을 계속 시도하지만 가속기 노드에서 거부됩니다. 결국 NetApp TCP/IP가 시간 초과되고 연결이 닫힙니다.

NetApp 측에서 TCP 재전송 옵션을 설정할 수 없어 문제가 발생했습니다.

Resolution

NDMP 백업 해결

NDMP 백업 중에 NetApp 시간 초과 및 연결 닫기 문제를 해결하려면 다음 단계를 수행합니다.

Avamar 측에서 다음 옵션을 추가하여 avndmp 응용 프로그램이 사용 중인 경우에도 데이터를 계속 읽으려면 다음을 수행합니다.

--avndmp]backup-stream-buffering-period=1

이 /usr/local/avamar/var/CLIENT/avndmp.cmd 옵션은 데이터 세트, 고급 옵션 또는 가속기 노드의 클라이언트 디렉토리 아래에 추가할 수 있습니다.

예를 들어, avndmp.cmd file에는 다음 줄이 포함되어야 합니다.

--backup-stream-buffering-period=1

이 옵션을 추가한 후 avndmp 로그에서 연결이 닫히는 것과 관련된 오류 메시지가 있는지 확인하여 문제가 해결되었는지 확인합니다.
