Cause
Login fails because login does not pass the domain with the userID for authentication.
The user ID should be input using format
The user ID should be input using format
userid@domain. The logs for this instance show:
<userID>But it should show:
<userID@domain>
Resolution
The credential used to add the vCenter asset source should be changed or re-created to use the format
