Symptoms
Gebruikers die proberen een CIFS-share vanaf een Data Domain-systeem op een Linux-, Unix- of macOS-client te koppelen, kunnen te maken krijgen met fouten of mislukte koppelingspogingen.
Cause
Data Domain-systemen zijn ontworpen om CIFS-protocoltoegang (SMB) alleen vanaf Windows-besturingssystemen te ondersteunen. Het koppelen van CIFS-shares op Linux-, Unix- of macOS-clients wordt niet ondersteund.
Resolution
Het koppelen van CIFS-shares vanaf een Data Domain systeem op Linux-, Unix- of macOS-clients wordt niet ondersteund. CIFS-toegang wordt alleen ondersteund met Windows OS-clients. Voor niet-Windows-omgevingen kunt u NFS of andere ondersteunde protocollen overwegen.
