Bluescreen Error when Upgrading the Realtek 8852BE WLAN/Bluetooth Driver on Certain Latitude and Precisions

Symptoms

The Latitude 5440 or Precision 3480 will show a Bluescreen error when you update the WLAN/Bluetooth driver using version 6001.15.149.100.

Cause

This is caused by the driver.

Resolution

Reinstall the Driver

Reinstall the driver again after the Bluescreen error. Use driver version 6001.15.149.100 or newer.

Note: After the Bluescreen, the WLAN connection may be abnormal. It is recommended that the driver is saved locally to the computer. Upgrading the driver using Dell Command Update or Windows Update may have the same issue.
