Instructions

Perform the following steps:   
  1. Open Unisphere.
  2. Go to System > Monitoring and Alerts > Notification for Block. Select the Notification Template Tab.
  3. Select the Template you are using and view its Properties.
  4. Select the Explicit Events radio button and then click on Advanced.
  5. Uncheck/Check the event which notifications need to be disabled/enabled for.

Example:  
Notification alert for the event "0x71678009 IO Module is incorrect found UNKNO expected FC 8G." needs to be disabled. The event code is "0x71678009".

To disable notification for this error:  
  1. Open Unisphere.
  2. Go to System > Monitoring and Alerts > Notification for Block. Select the Notification Template Tab.
  3. Select the Template you are using and view its Properties.
  4. Select the Explicit Events radio button and then click on Advanced.
  5. This alert is in Error > Basic Array Features.
  6. Uncheck the alert "0x71678009 Incorrect %2 in slot %3 found %4 expected %5."
