Instructions
Below are steps on how to generate report information in Unisphere from sections for selected storage systems:
1. In Unisphere, select the array/system in which you would like to generate a report (e.g. LUN overview, pool information, physical disk details, etc.).
2. Click on "System" tab, then look to the right pane under "Wizards", and select "Reports Wizard".
3. A window will pop up entitled, "Welcome to the Report Wizard".
There should be 3 steps outlined:
-Select predefined reports.
-Review summary.
-View report information.
4. Hit "Next".
5. In the "Select Report Section", expand the report section you require. In the example below, "Configuration", along with LUNs overview, is selected. Then click in the box next to the items you want reports on. Then hit "Next".
6. This will bring you to a "Summary of Selections" pane.
7. Hit "Finish".
8. A "Report Information" pane will come up, along with the directory where the XML file is saved.
9. Hit "Finished" and go to the directory where the XML file was saved.
