ECS: Come aggiungere o rimuovere un server DNS

Nota importante: La funzionalità ECS dipende fortemente dalla risoluzione DNS corretta. Se DNS non funziona correttamente, potrebbe verificarsi uno stato di non disponibilità dei dati (DU).

Prima di modificare le impostazioni DNS, verificare sempre con il cliente.

Nota: Una nuova funzionalità è stata rilasciata in xDoctor 4-8.104.0 e versioni successive. Questa operazione è ora automatizzata con xDoctor per tentare rapidamente di scoprire la potenziale causa degli errori xDoctor RAP075. Se lo script non è in grado di correggere gli errori di xDoctor RAP075, fornisce un riepilogo dettagliato dei risultati.

  1. Per trovare il nodo master del rack:

  1. Per trovare l'IP NAN, è possibile utilizzare l'IP identificato nell'avviso o da getclusterinfo -i per la destinazione con questo script:

  1. Eseguire il comando di automazione dal nodo master con xDoctor 4-8.104.0 e versioni successive.  Questa automazione è guidata da menu con passaggi di convalida durante l'esecuzione.

Nota: Prima di aggiungere il nuovo IP del server DNS, vengono eseguite le seguenti convalide:

    • Convalidare la ricerca DNS diretta.
    • Convalidare la ricerca DNS inversa.
    • Convalidare e visualizzare la mancata corrispondenza della ricerca DNS.

Comando:

# sudo xdoctor autopilot --kb 19614 --target-rack <rack color>

Esempio: (In questo esempio stiamo lavorando sul rack 1)

Nel caso in cui lo script non riesca:

Come aggiungere IP e DNSSearch alla configurazione DNS:

Utilizzare setrackinfo -a per configurare il server DNS. Ripetere il comando per ogni server DNS nel sito del cliente (o separarlo con uno spazio). 
# sudo setrackinfo -a DNSServer <DNS_Server_IP>

Example:
# sudo setrackinfo -a DNSServer x.x.x.x
# sudo setrackinfo -a DNSServer y.y.y.y
or
# sudo setrackinfo -a DNSServer x.x.x.x y.y.y.y
Utilizzare setrackinfo -a per configurare la ricerca DNS. È necessario eseguire il comando una volta per ogni ordine di specifica, dal più specifico al meno specifico. 
# sudo setrackinfo -a DNSSearch <DNS_Search_Specification>

Example:
# sudo setrackinfo -a DNSSearch corp.dell.com
# sudo setrackinfo -a DNSSearch dell.com

Come rimuovere gli IP dalla configurazione DNS:

Utilizzare setrackinfo -d per rimuovere uno o più elementi da un elenco (si applica a DNSServer o DNSSearch) 
Example:
# sudo setrackinfo -d DNSServer x.x.x.x y.y.y.y
