Instructions

In order to identify which users executed a specific Web search, the SourceOne Auditing and Reporting software should be installed.

If SourceOne Auditing and Reporting is not installed, use the method outlined below to identify the user who executed a particular search:

1. From within the SourceOne Email Management Console\Operations\Job Management window, identify the "Activity ID" of the Search activity that ran:

2. Within Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, run the following command against the ES1Activity database:

select * from Activity where activityId = <Activity ID from Step 1>
 

3. From the results windows, select the data within the xConfig column. A new window will open up within Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.

4. Within the <Search Criteria></Search Criteria> XML tab, the user who ran the search will be listed under "User=":
