Instructions
In order to restore a backup, or replicated backup from an Avamar source grid, an internal account (such as MCUser) is required.
Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) accounts do not work as the source grid makes a connection with the target grid using the avmgr command for login authentication.
To perform a restore:
1. Log in to the Avamar UI as a MCUser.
2. Select the remote backup to be restored, and initiate the restore.
