IDPA 4400 : ESXi-pääsalasanan vaihtaminen ja synkronointi ACM: n kanssa

Vaiheet ESXi-pääsalasanan vaihtamiseksi ja synkronoimiseksi ACM: n kanssa:
 
1. Kirjaudu ACM:ään pääkäyttäjänä putin kautta ja pysäytä verkkosovelluspalvelu. 
Komento: service dataprotection_webapp stop
 
2. Kirjaudu ESXiin pääkäyttäjänä puttyn kautta ja vaihda ESXI-juuren salasana yleiseen salasanaan.
 Komento : passwd
 
Huomautus: Anna ACM:n alkumäärityksen yhteydessä antamasi yleinen salasana.
 
3. Kirjaudu ACM:ään pääkäyttäjänä Putty
 
4:n kautta. Luo kopio komennosta InfrastructureComponents.xml
 
: cd /usr/local/dataprotection/var/configmgr/server_data/config
 
Komento: cp InfrastructureComponents.xml original_InfrastructureComponents.xml
 
5. Muokkaa infrastruktuuritiedostoa ja muokkaa *vain* salasanatunnistetta seuraavasti:
 
Ennen muokkaamista tiedosto näyttää tältä:

 Where the field highlighted in yellow can be different for different system, it is just a encrypted string.
 
 After modification, the file looks like this:

Where **COMMON_PASSWORD** is your common password.

 
6. Start the ACM Service using the below command:
Command: service dataprotection_webapp start
 
7. Wait 10 minutes. Check the InfrastructureComponents.xml and make sure that the password tag value has changed for 'isEncrypted' = 'true'.
