IDPA 4400 : Sådan ændres ESXi root-adgangskode og synkroniseres med ACM

Trin til at ændre ESXi root-adgangskode og synkronisere den med ACM :
 
1. Log på ACM ved hjælp af root-brugeren via putty, og stop webapp-tjenesten. 
Kommando: service dataprotection_webapp stop
 
2. Log ind på ESXi ved hjælp af root-bruger via putty, og skift adgangskoden til ESXI-roden til almindelig adgangskode.
 Kommando : passwd
 
Bemærk: Angiv den almindelige adgangskode, som du har angivet under den indledende ACM-konfiguration.
 
3. Log på ACM ved hjælp af root-bruger via putty
 
4. Opret en kopi af InfrastructureComponents.xml
 
Kommando: cd /usr/local/dataprotection/var/configmgr/server_data/config
 
Kommando: cp InfrastructureComponents.xml original_InfrastructureComponents.xml
 
5. Rediger infrastrukturfilen, og rediger *kun* koden 'adgangskode' som nedenfor:

 Where the field highlighted in yellow can be different for different system, it is just a encrypted string.
 
 After modification, the file looks like this:

Where **COMMON_PASSWORD** is your common password.

 
6. Start the ACM Service using the below command:
Command: service dataprotection_webapp start
 
7. Wait 10 minutes. Check the InfrastructureComponents.xml and make sure that the password tag value has changed for 'isEncrypted' = 'true'.
