IDPA 4400 : Як змінити пароль root ESXi та синхронізувати його з ACM

Кроки для зміни кореневого пароля ESXi та його синхронізації з ACM:
 
1. Увійдіть в ACM за допомогою root user через putty і зупиніть службу веб-додатків. 
Команда: подача dataprotection_webapp зупинка
 
2. Увійдіть у ESXi за допомогою користувача root через putty та змініть пароль root ESXI на загальний пароль.
 Команда : passwd
 
Примітка: Введіть загальний пароль, який ви вказали під час початкового налаштування ACM.
 
3. Увійдіть до ACM за допомогою root user через putty
 
4. Створіть копію InfrastructureComponents.xml
 
Команда: cd /usr/local/dataprotection/var/configmgr/server_data/config
 
Команда: cp InfrastructureComponents.xml original_InfrastructureComponents.xml
 
5. Відредагуйте файл інфраструктури та змініть *лише* тег 'password', як показано нижче:

 Where the field highlighted in yellow can be different for different system, it is just a encrypted string.
 
 After modification, the file looks like this:

Where **COMMON_PASSWORD** is your common password.

 
6. Start the ACM Service using the below command:
Command: service dataprotection_webapp start
 
7. Wait 10 minutes. Check the InfrastructureComponents.xml and make sure that the password tag value has changed for 'isEncrypted' = 'true'.
