Steps:

  1. Next to the item, click the down drop arrow and select Copy all to clipboard.
  2. Paste output to Notepad++.
Output should be similar to:

  1. Open an SSH to the node in question; 01 as per the screenshot above
  2. Run the following command on the host:
for i in $(vsish -e ls /vmkModules/lsom/disks/ | sed 's/.$//'); do echo "Disk:" $i; localcli vsan storage list | grep $i -B 2 | grep Disp; echo "Recovered components:";vsish -e ls /vmkModules/lsom/disks/"$i"/recoveredComponents/ 2>/dev/null; echo; done

This command identifies the specific capacity drive.

  1. Go to Virtual SAN > General tab, Set disk claim to manual.
  2. ​​​​​​​Go to Disk management as per the screenshot below.

Browsing to Disk management                                           

  1. Select the disk group for the node and the disk in question.
  2. Remove the disk from the disk group (full data migration) option.
  3. Readd the disk to the disk group.
  4. Go to Virtual SAN General tab.
  5. Set the disk claim to automatic again.
