Instructions

Probleem:     
  • Het verzamelen van basissysteeminformatie en -details van een IDPA-apparaat.
Van toepassing op:    
  • Alle Integrated Data Protection Appliances (IDPA's) 
  • Alle softwareversies
Het bestand Appliance Configuration (PDF) bevat de volgende gegevens:    
  • IDPA serienummer (het serienummer is ook te vinden op de serienummertag van het product op de achterkant van een IDPA. Het onderdeelnummer begint met 900-xxx-xxx)
  • PowerEdge servicetag
  • IDPA-modelnummer
  • Serienummers van componenten (Avamar, DPA en Data Domain)
  • Componentversies (Avamar, DD, DPSearch, DPA en DPC)
  • FQDN van alle componenten
  • LDAP/AD-informatie
  • Informatie NDMP-versnellerknooppunt (indien ingeschakeld)
  • vCenter-informatie
  • ESXi-informatie
  • Site-ID
  • Uurzonee
  • SMTP-servergegevens
  • SNMP-gegevens
  • IDPA-hostnaam en IP-adres
Opmerking: Het PDF-bestand met de apparaatconfiguratie bevat GEEN Dell servicetag of iDRAC IP (zie het gedeelte 'Opmerkingen' voor meer informatie over de servicetag).

Er zijn twee manieren om deze informatie te verzamelen:   
  • ACM Dashboard (GUI) 
ACM Dashboard:   
  1. Log in bij het ACM Dashboard (https://< hostnaam of IP>:8543/dataprotection/#/dashboard)
  2. Klik op de knop PDF-afbeelding in de rechterbovenhoek om het PDF-bestand "Integrated Data Protection Appliance Configuration" te downloaden.

  • SSH op ACM CLI
SSH on ACM CLI:   
  1. SSH (bijv. via PuTTY) naar de ACM-machine
  2. Voer deze opdracht uit:    
cat /usr/local/dataprotection/var/configmgr/server_data/config/DataProtectionConfiguration.xml
