Instructions
To retain persistent customizations to MCS configurations, update the /usr/local/avamar/var/mc/server_data/prefs/mcserver.xml and end the customized line with merge="keep".
For example:
<entry key="use_ddr_auth_token" value="false" merge="keep" />
Settings with the merge="keep" added will persist through hotfix/patch and upgrades (Flag requires straight double quotes not opening or closing double quotes).
