Avamar: How to submit an enhancement request (RFE) for new features or functionality

Instructions

To raise an Avamar enhancement request, contact your local Dell presales representative to discuss and gather your requirements. The presales representative will then submit a Request for Enhancement (RFE) for evaluation by Product Management.

An enhancement request is appropriate where the product does not have the functionality being requested.

If Avamar is not working as advertised, this may be more accurately described as a bug and should be investigated through a technical support case.

Additional Information

Submission of an RFE does not guarantee that Product Management will accept the request.

If an RFE is accepted, Product Management will assess it against other Product requirements and consider it for development in a future release.

There is no guarantee that an RFE that has been accepted will be integrated into the product.
