Symptoms

Dopo la build di VxRail, impossibile eseguire la console da vSphere ma anche dal desktop.

Impossibile aprire un web client a causa di questo errore:

[400] An error occurred while sending an authentication request to the vCenter Single Sign-On server - An error occurred when processing the metadata during vCenter Single Sign-On setup - java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: no SSLSocketFactory specified.

Cause

Si tratta di un problema DNS. Provare a eseguire il ping dell host ESXi in base al nome. Se non si riceve alcuna risposta, assicurarsi che sia presente una voce host DNS per il nodo ESXi.

Resolution

Inserire una voce host del server ESXi nel file DNS o nel file host del desktop locale.
Ubicazione:

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Come:

192.168.225.102 esxi2.testlab.com
192.168.225.103 esxi3.testlab.com

* Assicurarsi che l'ora sia sincronizzata tra vCenter e VxRail Manager.
