NVP-vProxy: Backups failing with: libCURL: function "curl_easy_perform" returned error 28: "Operation timed out after 1800735 milliseconds

Symptoms

The NetWorker VMware Protection integration is configured with the vProxy Appliance.  The vProxy backup action times out waiting to start with the following error in the policy summary:
vProxy_name: Unable to start backup on vProxy 'vProxy_name': libCURL: function "curl_easy_perform" returned error 28: "Operation timed out after 1800735 milliseconds with 0 out of -1 bytes received" .

Cause

The admin account is locked on the vProxy appliance and is preventing the NetWorker session from logging in to start the backup.
 

Resolution

The admin account should be reset on the vProxy appliance: NVP-vProxy: How to update / change vProxy admin or root password  

Additional Information
