Analyse av Isilon-klynge – IP-adresse for SmartConnect-tjenesten

Isilon On-Cluster Analysis rapporterer utdata omtrent som følgende:

  CRITICAL: Immediately following the commit of the upgrade to OneFS 8.2.0.0, the SmartConnect Service IP addresses associated with subnets that have
        VLAN tagging may disappear. Shortly after the Userspace rollup patch install is started this issue should go away. Please plan accordingly for
        there to be a disruption to new connection requests at this stage in the OneFS upgrade. For more details on this issue please review LKB000168627

Hvis klient(er) blir funnet koblet til en SmartConnect-tjeneste-IP-adresse (SSIP), støttes ikke dette og vil slutte å fungere etter oppgraderingen til OneFS 8.2.0.0. Umiddelbart etter oppgraderingen til OneFS 8.2.0.0 kan IP-adressene for SmartConnect-tjenesten som er knyttet til delnett som har VLAN-merking, forsvinne. Kort tid etter at installasjonen av samleoppdateringen for Userspace er startet, bør dette problemet forsvinne. Planlegg deretter for at nye tilkoblingsforespørsler skal forstyrres på dette stadiet i OneFS-oppgraderingen.
