Symptoms

NetWorker VMware Protection 통합은 vProxy 어플라이언스로 구성됩니다. 백업은 특정 VM(Virtual Machine)에서 특정 디스크를 건너뜁니다. 백업 워크플로 로그에는 다음이 표시됩니다.

Cause

VMware 스냅샷 생성 시 "독립 영구 디스크"의 스냅샷을 허용하지 않으므로 vProxy 백업 워크플로가 디스크를 건너뜁니다. vProxy 백업 워크플로에는 VM 백업을 수행하기 위한 가상 디스크의 스냅샷이 필요합니다.

독립 디스크 지원 정보는 Dell Technologies NetWorker VMware 통합 가이드의 "vProxy 어플라이언스를 사용한 NetWorker VMware Protection 솔루션 모범 사례"에 설명되어 있습니다.

백업을 계획할 때는 NetWorker VMware Protection이 환경에서 사용 중인 디스크 유형을 지원하는지 확인해야 합니다. 현재 NetWorker VMware Protection은 다음 디스크 유형을 지원하지 않습니다.

  • 독립형(영구 및 비영구)
  • RDM 독립형 - 가상 호환성 모드
  • RDM 물리적 호환성 모드
