Symptoms

Geprobeerd om snapshot te maken (gepland of handmatig).

We krijgen de volgende foutmelding bij het maken van snapshots:
"Kan snapshottijdstempel> van storageresource <niet maken <Naam van bestandssysteem> met fout 1903001809". 

De onderstaande gegevens staan vermeld in het "EMC System Log file"

Cause

Het maximum aantal snapshots van het checkpoint-bestandssysteem is al gemaakt op deze array.

Resolution

  • Controleer de maximale limiet voor Checkpoint-snapshots volgens de array.
  • En vraag de klant om het snapshotschema te wijzigen door https://support.emc.com/kb/486063
  • In mijn geval was het Unity 300 en max. checkpoint snaps was 500.
