Symptoms
When users connect to Unisphere with ControlStation IP address, the Block options/tabs are grayed out.
Cause
Multiple reasons may lead to this symptom. This article describes a rare situation which is difficult to detect. When users connect to Unisphere with the IP address of ControlStation, two TCP connections are set up with the SP's 443 port as well. If these connections are blocked by firewall, the Block options become grayed out. To identify this cause, telnet the 443 port of the SP.
Resolution
Release the blocked IP or TCP port from firewall.
