Symptoms

Dellのベスト プラクティスに従ってIOPS値を1000(デフォルト)ではなく1に調整しようとすると、エラーが発生しました。

エラー メッセージ(ESXi 5.x/6.xの場合):

#esxcli storage nmp psp roundrobin deviceconfig get --device=naa.<wwn>
   Byte Limit: 10485760
   Device: naa.<wwn>
   IO Operation Limit: 1000
   Limit Type: Default
   Use Active Unoptimized Paths: false

#esxcli storage nmp psp roundrobin deviceconfig set --device=naa.<wwn>  --iops=1 --type iops
error: device naa.<wwn> unknown.

なし

 

Resolution

回避策:
構文を変えて、同じコマンドを使用してみてください。

#esxcli storage nmp psp roundrobin deviceconfig set  type=iops  iops 1  device naa.<wwn>

これは正しく実行されました(出力なし)
デバイス「naa.<次のように、wwn>」がラウンド ロビンおよびIOPS=1に設定されました。

#esxcli storage nmp psp roundrobin deviceconfig get --device=naa.<wwn>
   Byte Limit: 10485760 <wwn>
   IO Operation Limit: 1
   Limit Type: Iops
   Use Active Unoptimized Paths: false
